Promoting growth for a Health and Safety consultancy whose expansion had stagnated
This client was a Health and Safety consultancy in its thirteenth year. The owner had built a strong and stable business, but growth had stagnated. He was looking for a review of his existing performance and a clear strategy to achieve his growth targets.
We opted for a financial Health Check, where I went in, listened to the company story, learnt what had gone before, and identified what his ultimate aims were. My high-level summary identified proposed changes to the way they worked, and in our last meeting we reviewed the final report and ensured that the owner knew what to do to drive results.
The owner was left with a clear, realistic vision on how long his new growth targets would take to achieve. He was able to link these targets to his marketing strategy, ensuring he had appropriate resources and funding in place. We also looked at internal systems and how these could be improved with a couple of handy tools to help with short term cash flow forecasting, project profitability and pricing.
