I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years, so I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. Sweating the small stuff and making the hard calls. Dealing with the human side of running a business. That’s why I’m all about collaboration. I’m not a supplier, I’m your partner, meaning that whether your business is just starting out or already riding high we’ll work together. I will start with an initial meeting to understand you as a person, your business and its challenges and ultimately what you want from your business. I will outline how I think we should work together in terms of what information I think we will need both financial and operational. Whilst there will be a need for a scheduled regular meeting, the key to you getting the most value is knowing you can call me at any point when you need to talk over any decisions, have any concerns or any light bulb moments you want to discuss.

My approach is collaborative and supportive. I see myself as part of your team on the inside looking out with you and so our personality fit is key to a successful relationship.

MONTHLY INFORMATION

I will ensure we have the nuts and bolts of financial information but will complement this with the key non financial factors which impact your business. I will explain the business performance in your language and highlight what we need to do to address any issues. This will ensure you are on a sound financial footing and focusing your energy on the right areas of your business. This may include looking at which clients, service lines or products are most and least profitable so we can act accordingly.

PROJECT WORK

I can also help with writing business plans and supporting projections to secure funding. Other one off projects may include items such as a detailed cost review to drive profit improvement.

ANNUAL FORECASTING

A detailed forecast will help us ensure you have the right resources and cashflow to support your plans. We can track against this to ensure we are heading in the right direction.
